My International Race Of Champions “IROC” – Dale Earnhardt Sr. won the opening Race of 1999 at Daytona in this car when it was the color “Cream”. (1996 to 2001 the car was raced “Cream”) In 2002 to 2003 the car was raced (and later converted into a practice car) in “Black”. (see photos below)
Dale Earnhardt also won the IROC Championship in 1999. My IROC racecar was raced the entire time in the True Value Hardware Sponsored Trans Am bodied cars. 1996 to 2003. After the 2003 season, it was converted to a training/ride-in car (in 2004) with 2 seats and as the New Crown Royal sponsor Decals.
There are plenty of video and pictures below and links to every IROC race season. When this car competed in the IROC series, it was the “Creme” colored from 96-01. Then it was “Black” from 2002-2003. It was converted at the end of the 2003 Racing Season. After “True Value” Hardware ended its sponsorship, Crown Royal stepped in for 2004. Following that, this car and all cars were re-decaled with their respective sponsor logos.
