2007 Shelby GT500 Cobra

Shelby and Ford are back at it again! My New 2007 Shelby GT500 Cobra – Vista Blue with White Stripes. Purchased 3-28-2007 (Sold) | Build Date January 2007

500 Horsepower Stock (480 rear wheel horsepower! 470 torque!). 5.4 Liter DOHC Supercharged V8 (This forged crank and pistoned, cast iron block motor is capable of over 800 Rear Wheel Horsepower!). 6 speed Tremec TR6060 manual transmission, 8.8 in. limited slip solid rear with 3.31 gears and 31 spline axles.

Just a quick vid of power shifting my 2007 Shelby GT500 on closed Racecourse. 4.10 gears/FRPP Axleback Exhaust/Nitto Drag Radials 305-45-18/SCT Strategy Flash Standard Shelby Tune/Stock Airbox Air Intake. 511 RWHP (SAE). It’s easy to powershift and various power levels require harder/faster shifting. Lower HP cars can easily slip into gear while shifting fast… the more power/torque and rpm make it a bit more challenging. Until you have tried it in a car like this… keep comments to yourself. And no… it’s not hurting anything… 5k miles… 11.20 1/4 mile drag times and no problems. If it’s done correctly… you will have no problems.

Another dyno test on my car with experimental Mass Air Meter and open-air filter. No tune… just the factory tune… untouched. 100% safe. 523 RWHP (STD) 510 RWHP (SAE) I show back the results of back-to-back runs with the meter on and then at the end I show a pic of (STD) readings of the first Experimental Mass Air run and my stock air box run for that day (490 RWHP). Engine was a little hotter than my previous dyno. So, she gained 33 RWHP with no tune. Product should be out soon from www.BigDaddyPerformance.com.

Muscle Mustangs/Fast Fords Magazine ran a best of 12.26 at 117.8 mph factory stock in the 1/4 mile. Evolution Performance has their 2007 Shelby GT500 in the 9’s in the 1/4 mile
